GigWA believes that instead of leaving the platform-based economy completely in the hands of companies, a central law should regulate it. Under this law, a tripartite board should be formed with representatives of platform workers, companies, and the government. GigWA also wants all platform workers to be given the status of workers and brought under labor laws, with guaranteed welfare schemes like ESI, PF, gratuity, maternity benefit, etc.
